most challenging course in Canada and third in the world - with a
slope rating of 153 from the tournament tees. The scenery is

Three Sister's new Stewart
Creek Golf Course, designed by architect Gary Browning opened in
the spring of 2000. Gary has taken the most pristine environment and
has woven 18 outstanding golf holes through it, as though it belonged
there. The course features breathtaking mountain views, abundant
wildlife, abandoned mine shafts and it's name sake, Stewart Creek, on
a challenging yet fair layout. The terrain is amazing for a golf
course and the views - spectacular.

Renowned for its panoramic
beauty, the Banff Springs Golf Course is both captivating and
challenging. The optical illusions created by the mountains towering
overhead can deceive the eye of even the most skilled player. Stanley
Thompson, master golf course architect, used his expert talent when he
designed the original 18 holes in 1928. Making the most of the natural
landscape, he weaved the course around majestic evergreens, in the
shadow of the mountains and along the banks of two rivers. In 1989, 9
holes were added, resulting in 27 holes of championship layout.
Recently the course has been fully resorted back to the original
Stanley Thompson design with modifications for today's long drive
technology. It is common to be playing along side some magnificent
elk.

Few golf courses in the
world can match the rugged majesty of the Jasper Park Lodge Golf
Course. From location, to layout, to the extraordinary wildlife
experiences, this Stanley Thompson course offers its players something
special. The course was officially opened on July 17, 1925. In 1994,
using the original blueprints, the course was renovated back to its
original layout. Some bunkers were reshaped, others were opened again.
Tee boxes have been reshaped and in some instances built up to their
original height. A unique feature of this golf course is that many of
the holes are aligned to distant mountain peaks. Bunkers and greens
match the contours of the mountain ranges that surround Jasper.
